Family and Consumer 科学 Faculty
Family and Consumer 科学 (FCS) is an integrated discipline that serves 家庭 and individuals by providing holistic, 跨学科, 综合, and preventative perspectives in addressing the needs of individuals and 家庭 as consumers.
FCS views 家庭 as the fundamental social unit and understanding individuals and 家庭 is central to each FCS major offered. 具体地说, the mission of Family and Consumer 科学 is “to prepare students to engage the culture and offer solutions to problems faced by individuals, 家庭, and communities that involve food, 服装, 避难所, 和人际关系."
Our graduates become scientists, 设计师, 跟单员, 辅导员, 领导人, and educators in the apparel, 内饰, and food and nutrition fields.
